Ok, i have a juwel vision 180 and the filter that it comes wiv is terrible, it has now broken and my water quality is deteriorating fast. I have added a temp fluval 2 to try to help but need a new filter imediately. I want over filtration and was wondering should i go for a Rena Xp3 or a Eheim 2028???

Any comments would be apreciated.

Many THANKS

The cost is not an issue i want to get the right one in the first place.

I've got a Vision 180 as well and added an Eheim 2026 to it a few months back - it's absolutely fantastic, very quiet (wouldn't know it was on if I didn't have some disturbance at the top of the water), great adjustable output, SO much easier (& cheaper) to maintain.

Note that I'm biased as I've never had a Rena.

i had a rena xp2 and although it was quiet and ran nicely for a month or two and then one day i came home and it had given up and havent got it working again and the place i got it from said i had to maqil it back to rena to get a replacement i now have a fluval 405
