So my 2075 began to leak around the pump head. As many others have also reported.

I contacted the dealer, Zooplus who told me to contact Eheim in Germany. Eheim in turn asked for the unit to be returned at my own cost to their German offices.

Last Thursday it returned. One pump, and two small plastic shards.

One of the shards is what appears to be a fin from the underside. The other is from a plastic gate that probably opens when the hose connection block becomes seated. This latter bit I am concerned about.

Fri morning I sent photos to Eheim asking for their assurances it can be used, or for a new repair / replacement. I have heard nothing back at this point.

Does anyone else have experiences of Eheim warranty support? Apparently because the distributor is Zooplus I am unable to get support from their UK support/distributor in Bury St Edmunds :(.

Thankfully my JBL e1500 continues on...

could you tell me how old the filter is
also if you are in the UK/EU.
I cant give you much more advice, without that information.

I had an issue with a filter last week and they sent me out a new part free of charge. They didn't ask for pictures or to send it back.
Have had dealings with them previously and have always been more than happy with their service and quick responses.

Sorry for the delay in responding.

Five days ago I re-sent the email to the lady at Eheim whom I've been previously in touch with, and copied in support@eheim.de for good measure. Again, no response at this point.

The filter was bought July '09 from Zooplus.co.uk. I live in the UK.

Humm. I'm an Eheim fan. but not for the new filters. perhaps in a couple of years?

It's odd though, Eheim are usually very good if you contact them.
