Broke My Eheim

so i broke the priming handle on my eheim ecco 2232 today, now while im waiting for a replacement, the only thing ive got is a small no-name internal. the flow rate it adjustable on it and it has some decent power, however its been dry for months.

ive stuck some of the substrat pro stuff out of my eheim in it, hoping it will keep the tank cycled for a few days and ive put the basket with the rest if the substrat pro and sponges in one of my other tanks just sat on the bottom, hoping that it will keep it all colonised until my replacement comes.

im checking the water often, and i have another tank which has just finished cycling which my fish can go in if their current one mini cycles.

any other suggestions?

Sounds like you have got it all going fine.

The only other thing I would possibly do if you can is to put the eheim media in the tank it used to run on, and then point a powerhead at it so that it still gets a good flow of water over it and it will keep filtering the tank.

nice idea, i have an O shaped rock with an airstone bubbling up from the middle, ive put the media basket on top of that
