I've been looking for the perfect betta for a few months now, and I really wanted teal or opaque, but for some reason I bought this guy today. I'll keep looking for another one, but I think he's pretty. I couldn't get him to flare, but I'll keep trying. Remember I'm still new to pictures, any suggestions are welcome!

Yeah, he's still in his cup, I thought I might be able to get him to flare better if I could get a mirror next to him. My husband was yelling at me though he said it's like some psycho holding a shotgun to my face to see if I'd scream. LOL, I'll have to try to get him to flare after my hubbie goes to bed!

Yeah, I named him Cage. I have always named my bettas after actors ( Cage, Hanks, Nicholson, etc) and I had one named Cage before that looked a lot like this one, so I guess he should be Cage II!
