i have just bought 2 bristlenose plec i have a 55g tank and was wondering on what the chances of them getting on fine together when they are older are they are very tiny at the min must only be a few weeks old.

they are both very busy in my tank at the min cleaning up

i dont know what sex they both are either because they are so small

A pair in that size of tank should be no worries at all... ive a similar sized tank with 6 in at the moment and they all get on happily.there pretty slow growers so will take some time to get to the stage where territory is an issue.

how well do u think 2 will clean my 55g tank from algea

I think depending on what sex they are really, males are more territorial i presume, if it's a male and female expect a lot more
