came home from work today and found the male blocking the female inbetween the glass and a plantpot its like a little crevace shes full of egss as her stomach is really fat but shes insisting to be out you think shes ready to drop or not

She is just testing him to make sure he is strong. Maybe she wants to be in a cave not a crevace but if he holds her there and she is ready she will give in I think. Fingers crossed.
:good:

well i went home last nite and watched her deposit all her eggs inbetween the glass and plantpot :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: and the male aint moved an mm so in the next few days they will be hatched there are about 50 eggs

If it dowsnt effect the fish or the eggs, could you take a photo if possible? I aim to breed a few brisslenoses in the next 6-7 months. Cheers

how long does it take for the eggs to hatch and what colour should they be mine are orange looks like daddy has damaged a few but still got loads left :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

usually takes about 3 days to hatch then a further 10 days before dad should let them out, by then they should have lost the egg sack and look like mini versions of the adults
