Ok a while ago I traded in some CAE's for some baby plecs and asked on here what they could be and it was decided that they were BN's which I am pleased to say I am almost certain they are as one has started to develop bristles! I have a question though do they get their bristles around the same age as only one of them has bristles which makes me wonder if I have a male and female or a very late developing male! Ok so neither is very big at the mo only about 1.5 inches!

They won't show bristles until around the size you have at the moment or larger... leave it a while longer to see what happens with the 'bristle-less' one...

Ok thanks!

I noticed bristles on that one ages ago but there arent even little stumps on this one which is what makes me wonder if it's a female or possibly something else (doubt the later)!

are there any bristle up the nose towards the head?

If so its a male. - if not its a female.

Hmmm not really seen any bristles going on the head they are just on the front of the nose at the moment (well what I can see anyway) The other one def has none at the moment!
