my bristlenoses (turns out to be male and female YAY!!) are not so nice to each other ive added more plants and cover for them to hide in but when feeding them their tablets the male who when aggresive turns a black and white marbled colour attacks the hell out of the female is this normal?

my pair did it sometimes ,you just have to spread the food on seperate areas of the tank
