Bristlenose Pleco Feeding Advice Needed Please

Just got my first small Bristlenose Pleco ever yesterday. Some of my plants have brown algae on them and I was thrilled to see him start cleaning them up. I was wondering if I could wait until he eats the algae off the plants before I start feeding him? I bought some Hikari algae wafers and plan to feed zucchini (courgette). Also how often do I feed him? Thanks!

I feed mine courgette every other day, but I don't really have any algae, so, perhaps you could feed a quarter of a wafer one day (unless the other fish take it!) near to lights out, and some courgette a couple of days later?

Even tho you have algae you still need to feed them algae wafers etc they wont stop eating the algae they are true bottomless pits n will eat everything
