Hello everyone, so I got a bristlenose pleco from local pet shop and s/he is beautiful. But I would love to know what type and if it's a male or female. It's roughly 4 - 6 months old and about 5 inches maybe bigger.

Photos aren't the best as phone camera is poor

Looks to be a calico color morph of domestic bristlenose (ancistrus cf cirrhosis for scientific name) and looks most likely a young male due to nose bristles starting up the top center of the nose--females rarely if ever get bristles here, but definitely not at this age.

Blurry photos, but zoomed in you can see the bristles here in the middle.

At this age and size, the sex should be already clear. Only the males show those bristles. Yes, the pics are blurry but @CassCats has enhanced one of the pics and we do see small bristles.
