Bristlenose Plec

Hi I have 2 Bristlenose plecs. One of my plecs has found a cave in my tank to live in, the other found a rock that had a lip to live under. My problem is this:
recently while I was doing a water change my rock fell over and now my plec wont live there anymore, but today I noticed that inside my cave where the other one lives it has lots of poo!!!
Now, I obviously think this should be cleaned out, but I dont want to disturb the plec as its his home, if I move it to clean it do you think he will return? I know this sounds a silly question, but I want him to live happily. as the other looks lost without a permanent home.

Yep - definitely clean it out. He'll no doubt sulk for a little while, but he'll go back in

Definately clean it. That's why I didn't silicone the top of my BN's cave.

Our plecs move back in quite quickly when we move them about
