Hi . I am very new to plecs and have purchased 2 from different shops, anyway I was lloking at images of bristlenoses and there was one with a bristlenose eating a prawn , so here comes the daft question,
Would it be frozen , thawed , cooked , nuked in the microwave ?
Any other tasty morsals my baby BN's might like, have gave them bloodworm and cucumber , usually algae pellets and catfish sinkers , brineshrimp too.
any correspondence greatly appreciated.................. :good:

The prawn will be defrosted, no need to cook but some people do. Try only to give literally as a treat along with any other protein rich foods. Most veg should be offered..ie.. courgette, cucumber, potato, butternut squash some even like the odd lettuce leaf. Keep the veggies varied and keep feeding a good quality algae food and you cover all bases and you have a recipe for a very healthy BN plec.

Cheers mate, I have still to try the potato , I'm sure they will love it, they are very active little things , hope the're both girls... will try prawn soon , cheers again... :good:
