yes you can, mine get along fine with the shrimp in their tank.

What type of shrimp do you want to keep ? There are quite a few varieties and some of the clawed varieties are not fish safe. Filter feeders (fans instead of claws) are safe though.

I was just about to ask a similar question as keeping shrimps sounds interesting. Is there anything special you need to know for keeping them or do they just clean up leftovers for you?!!

Sorry if that sounds extremely simple, I have no experience with them!
