bristlenose belly

Hi

Just getting to know my two bristlenoses so am not sure what is 'normal' and what is not

My female BN was hanging on the glass last night (all 3 of my plecs were out together last night for ages - soooo cool ) and she looks like she has a pink belly. There is a patch of pink between her first two sets of side fins and another patch by the start of her tail. Is this normal???

that description sounds normal (as she grows up it'll go silvery)

Keep an eye on her though - if it gets redder it might be a problem with internal parisites.

By the way, that flicking problem she had seems to be resolved as I haven't seen her do it since.
