Hi

Im hoping you guys will have some ideas on this.

I bought a small Bristle Tang a couple of weeks ago. At first he wouldn't eat. (I have had this problem before with a Powder Blue which sorted itself). Anyway after a few days he was Ok with dried seaweed and a bit of frozen marine mix. Now he wont eat anything. I have tried mixing Entice, Garlic guard and spray liposones on different foods and have had no joy. He is now very pinched and spends alot of time behind the rocks and :( also going blotchy now.

Any ideas would be really great or do you think the fish is doomed. He is the only Tang in the tank.

Many thanks

Richard

what is a bristle tang never heard of one before? can you post any pics would love to see one :good:

How's your water? Nitrate, amonia and so on?

does he seemed to be picked on by other fish?

Try skipping a meal period, he might be getting his food while you are not watching.

All levels are fine except Nitrate which is a touch high but then it always has been. I will try missing a meal to see whats happening.

Many thanks
