Bristle Nose Help!

I have recently replaced a catfish who out grew my tank for a BN. at first he was doing a great job cleaning the algae from the ornimantes and filter in my tank. he also cleans the 2 smaller glass sides. but for some reason he never eats the algae on the front panel. any ideas why this is the case? should i try adding another BN to clean this part of the tank. the algae has grown quite thick and is starting to obstruct my view.

Any help would be great.

BNs cannot live purely off algea, you will need to feed him wafers/pellets as well as veg as well, as for the algea, if its really bothering you then remove it yourself

What is the best way to remove the algae myself??

a sponge and good old elbow grease

(make sure the sponge is new and has had no exposure to any chemicals)

ok thanks. will do that i think. i could soak sponge in some tank water when i do my next water change to make sure it is chemical free!!!
