hi i was hoping that some one could help, i have a brislenose plec and want to know if i can put him/her in with my malawi cichlids.

Absolutely - BN's are one of the few bottom-feeders that are compatible with malawi's. Just make sure he/she is big enough to cope with the intended tankmates. In other words don't add a baby BN to a tank of adult Mbuna.
