Got these this morning, i've been eyeing them for a few weeks and i think they are Splash Tetras.
1 fish thats been on my wish list for ages since seeing pix on the web. They are over 2 inches long.

Nope. They are Rasboras. R. einthovenii most likely, difficult to be 100% certain whilst they are still in the bag and stressed. There are a few that look like that.
 
LL is proberly correct on the rasbora ID
and definatly correct they are not Copella arnoldi

Was Hoping they were Splash and @ 50p each can't complain.

Robs doing up the shop again and is gonna branch out into more diverse fish in the next couple of weeks. He has 3K's worth of fish on order for the new tanks when they are ready.
Pkus if your really nice he might let you have a look at the Tortoises he has.
 
So I went back and bought all he had, so now i have a nice group of ten.

They look very nice swimming around the tank, pity they are top dwellers. as i have to sit down on the floor to see them.
