Breeding

I am really interested in breeding bettas. I have reashearched for a while and realize i will need m,any jars. I was wondering what i could use to house the bettas. Like really cheap everyday things. Would a 1/2 gallon mayo container work or dill jars? anyone have any ideas

They would be ok for temporary homes for separating males before you sold them, but not permanently
