Breeding Zebras

I have very hard water . What is the DH for zebra danio (ZD) breeding? I can't afford an RO, so I will buy a tap water filter.

A lot of "tapwater filters" acheive very little from the point of view of breeding fish. How hard is your water? Zebras are very resilient, I would expect them to breed in a cup of tomato soup.

I've breed them in very hard water with no problems, the main trigger though is a large water change and then they usualy get going with in a houre or so.
