Breeding Zebra Danios

I have 6 zebra danios, some of which look decidedly pregnant. It has been a while now and I hope they are pregnant and not bloated, how long does pregnancy last for danios, roughly

The female is generally fuller-bodied and larger with subdued colors. On the males one can find a golden-yellow background with fine red lines between the weider blue longitudinal lines. On the female, the background is silvery white. Breeding takes place readily as zebras are some of the easiest fish to breed. All you need is some plants as the zebra danios are egg layers. The pair will normally spawn in the early hours of the morning and the eggs will be deposited on the plants. I think the total time for the eggs to be ready in the female is about 4-5 weeks, but remember that they are only fertilised when she spawns them on the plants!!
