Hi all! I'm looking to get another spawning session going here. This will be my official 10th pair. I have a few questions.
1) I am looking to do a crowntail pair. I wanted to know if it worth internet sale with these fish. I used to sell to my lfs and locally private sale. However, my lfs will not purchase anymore from me due to the fact that they have a new supplier. I can get rid of maybe 50 locally. Any after that however is going to be kind of difficult.
2) Just because I am thinking of crowntails does not mean that i will definetly spawn crowntails. I'm actually looking for ideas. What do you guys think are "wow" bettas? Color ideas and tail types ideas are welcome.
3) I'm looking to buy or build a new sponge filter for the breeding tank. Anyone have any plans for a diy sponge filter setup? I cant find any. I know a sponge filter wouldnt break my wallet but Im trying to conserve any money i can. (saving for 400 gallon arowana tank).
