I have a question about breeding a FH with a texas cichlid. I have breed fish for years but never have done cross breeding. I would like to try because I love the way the FH texas cichlid cross(red texas) looks like. It's a very beautiful fish and I wish to see of I can breed my own. Would a JD and a FH come out with sort of the same thing as a texas and a FH? What would be the best way going about cross breeding the texas and the FH? I already have 3 FHs in a 90G tank. Would putting 1 texas cichlid int he 90G cause one of the FHs to pair off with it? Or is the process of cross breeding more difficult? I would like someones input on what I would to do and the best way going about doing it. I really would like to have one of my FHs to pair off with a texas. Thank you for your time.
