How big does a breeding tank have to be? I have a 10 gallon tank. Is that enough?

I dont really know yet. Im thinking of breeding some crabs, maybe at first blue gouramis. I want to breed fish that are expensive if possible but I am open for ideas. What owuld you do in a 10 gallon tank

To be absolutely honest there isnt much you can breed with just a 10 gallon tank, with almost all egg laying fish you will need at least 2 tanks to be able to seperate the fry and parents. You could use the tank to breed small live bearers like guppies or platties but IMO thats about it. Most breeders use a tank of at least 20 gallons for breeding projects depending on the size of the fish.

I have 3 tanks. I have the 10 gallon tank, then the 29 gallon and a small lizard tank. I dont know the gallons on that, so I would put the parents back into the 29 gallon tank after they breed.
