I have a 15 gallon bare bottom tank with a sponge filter and heater. i have it near a window for lighting.

My fry tank is 10 gals with heater set at 23 degrees and 2 filters, one a air driven box filter and a hob filter with a sponge over the intake and set at the lowest flow.
A thin layer of sand and some small bits of moss balls etc for the fry to hide under :)
The lights are normally put on when i feed them and doing daily waterchanges, more for me than them, although they do get daylight in there all day.

The eggs are also hatched in this tank in a net above the flow of the box filter to stop the eggs going fungal,so once the eggs hatch they go in the fry tank
Although at the mo the last batch are still in the net,due to larger fry in the tank

Works for me :good:
