Breeding Rainbow Fish

Can you help!
I am quite new to this!

I have 4 rainbow fish and one of which is is going mad and has a bright yellow line on the top of its head and twitches when this happens. I have been told that this is when he or she is excited.

Can you tell me how the fish mate do they make bubble nests or do they scatter the eggs on plants etc!

I really do not know much about this so the more information the better!

Most lay eggs on plants, often floating ones. Floating spawning mops are usually recommended. Depends on species though. Usually they release a few eggs per spawn and can do it over a couple days.

They will eat eggs.
