Hey All,
My friend wants to try her hand at breeding, like me. She has a female plakat that has a slight dip behind her head. It has slowly been going away (I think she's growing out of it as she is still young). Nat (the friend) wants to breed the female with her other plakat, but she is worried that the fry will have the malformation on their back. The male plakat in question has no flaws and almost all of the female's brothers and sisters had no flaws as well.
I wasn't sure whether or not she should even try breeding that female, but she's so set on it because of the genetics and the personality of the two fishes. So I wanted a breeders opinion on this before I tell her to go for it.
Any experience with this would be helpful, thank you!
