Hey guys, I'm totally scared of SW, but I just heard on the news tonight that some folks over at Flinders Uni in NSW (Australia) have been successfully breeding the clownfish (whose wild stocks have been decimated ever since that movie...), apparently they spawn every 4 to 7 weeks anywhere from 200 to a 1000 fry a spawn! :D :D :D :D I'm so happy to hear that... so maybe prices will start dropping soon for you SW fans? :)

My little Nemo is tank bred (no, his name's not Nemo though and I wanted a clown fish LONG before the movie came out) :) I think it's great that people are working to breed more fish so that we don't have such an impact on the natural reefs

Cool, but clowns are breed all over the place. My niegbor had them breed in a 15 gallon set up. Unfortunately he did not know how to care for the young and they passed away, but they do breed in captivity.
