i want to try my hand at breeding as soon as funds will allow, and i really like the look of the l134. i've been researching and peopl suggest reduces the hardness of the water using a RO unit, and i was curious if their are over ways of reducing the hardness of water. and generally how much is a RO unit i've seen them at £70 is that the general price? thanks

You dont need RO water, however quite a few people have good results from using it, try and just use treated tap water to start with and see how you go. £70 is about right for an RO unit.

Tap water, super clean water and a dedicated tank set up with wood and caves. Many people use corys and rummy nose tetras as tank mates.
