It looks like my kribs are ready to breed. I have two females and one male, a pair has been formed and they stick close to each other. The female has picked a cave she likes and now spends all her time in the cave only coming out at feeding time while the male patrols the area. I cannot see into the cave to see if eggs have been layed, but can anyone advise on how long it takes for fry to hatch after eggs have been laid?

The eggs take about 3 days to hatch, sometimes longer. After they hatch they will be wrigglers, and it takes another 4 or so days to become free-swimming. You could not see any babies for at least a week.

Mine have just had babies, I just had a pair in my community tank. They seemed to have built a nest type thing out of moss and other plant parts. Yesterday however I cleaned the tank and hovered that all up and placed a new wooden cave in place of the coconut shell. Bit gutted as now I have seen the babies and that I only have 2 when I probs should of had 20-30! How do I look after them?
