It depends what type you got there.

but yes they will go a bit redder then normal you should be able to tell from when you got

oh my LFS must have a breeding pair, i might get the 2 and put them in my 56G, would that work?

Jewels are ok with other aggressive Mbuna.

Jewels aren't Mbuna, they are OK with: armored catfish, very fast fish, other aggressive fish etc.
