Hiya folks,

Something I wish to do is breed catfish. I have bought a group of breeding ansistrus and they are doing very well. However ...

I wish to keep a breeding pair / group of something in a 5ft community tank with discus, something a little less common.

Does anyone have suggestions to a plec in the 3 - 5 inch size that wouldn't eat plants or annoy discus ?

Also is it possible to have different type plecs in the same tank while breeding? I know my male bristle noses can be VERY bossy at times, but due to space and hiding spots they hardly ever meet one another.

Look forward to your help,

Joel

LOL - I've been getting a rather male rich ratio so far... Time will tell for the latest fry :)

Good luck,

If you are able to post please let me know.

I know they cost a few quid to send not worried about that aslong as the price on fish is good lol.

Posting might be a problem during the winter though...
