Going to have to thin out my Juli's soon. Saw a load of 'pin heads' before and after the water change this weekend. Took about 6 up the LFS the other week and need to take the same amount again (1" plus)

Also one of my two Syno's will have to go soon, or maybe even both of them (5" plus) Anyone local have a large tank they want stocking?

I seem to be providing my local MA with free stuff, pity they don't return the favour! They have Punct's, some lovely leleupi (need females) and something I need to research but can't remember what they are called

Hmm, lots of hormones running riot in your tank then? :hey:

By the sounds of it I`m glad I only got one of the marlieris
If your syno had been a bit smaller I would have taken it off your hands, I`m thinking of adding 2 or 3 lucipinnis to my tank
I`m surprised your lfs don`t give you some credit for your fish the tight gits :grr: MA at Wimborne have been absolutely brilliant, the cost of changing my stock would have been much more if I hadn`t got credit for my Tropicals.

The lad I got the punks from has some more stock but will sort out after Xmas exactly what he`s got as he`s been running his stock down due to an upgrade on his tank size, I can still ask him for a couple of punks if you`d like me to.

Do you have any brichardi doresy? I was wondering if you have, what their temperament is like with your other fish :look:

The nearest thing I have to a Brichardi is a Neolamprologus Pulcher. He was a bad boy when he was part of a breeding pair. The female died during second spawning  At one time they took over nearly half my tank. Now he's alone he's fine apart from the odd dash at tank mates when the mood takes him.

My Syno's were labeled Hybrids so I had no idea how big they would get. If they stay the size they are now then I would keep one as the two together just make too much disturbance. Your lucipinnis, if you get them, obviously don't get much bigger than around 3-4" but they would be quite boystrious.

It seems just as you get the tank as you like it someone gets a growth spurt!

It's fantastic to see you getting so much pleasure from your Tangs even though you are a long ways from being settled yet. Told you it was the better choice!

Good news on the fry front, are the marlieri like the dickfeldi where they care for the young and raise them in a group ? Does the LFS not give you store credit or some food ? Sounds a bit tight

Yes they do. I have at least 3 generations and they all look after each other. The LFS know they are doing me a favor as what else am I going to do with them.
