is it ok to put a male fighter fish in a breeding hatch in a main tank?

have got 3.

have got 1 in 26 litre tank.

my others are in small tanks, they are un-heated and unfiltered. im in two minds if this is ok though. tanks are warm enough and have daily water changes. thats why i ask about breeding traps.

Breeding traps aren't big enough for adults for any great length of time

Can't you divide a tank?

just going to keep them in what they are in. water is fine and il do regular water changes
