hi all, i seen my corys rubing at eachother as if they were ready to get into a spawning position!!
it was an albino and a pepper
they were no were near a plant (i thought they laid eggs on them)
i have got big predator fish like oscars and a black shark would they eat the fry
are they good parents if they happened to breed
ill try to get a vid soon !!

If its an albino bronze and pepper then they cannot breed with each other. They will also be lunch to your oscars very soon and could actually kill the oscar if they lock their pectoral fins in its throat.

My peppered are doing that same courtship act this morning.

Your oscar might try and eat it but pectorals and dorsal spines will either kill the oscar or make the oscar spit the cat out.

Its the food chain, if the cory kills the oscar then oh well and vise versa, yes they are pets but they dont know that.

This is absolutely true. I gave someone in my aquarium society some corys and he stupidly put them in a cichlid tank. Some of the corys were eaten, but the last one killed the predator. It's a sad story, but true.
