Breeding Cherry Shrimp

i have a spare tank with mature filter that i want to try breeding cherrys in. can anyone guide me in the right direction please with water temp, pH, water flow rate, decor, substrate etc etc. i used to keep cherrys in my com tank but my new angels saw them as lunch and they have all been eaten!!!!! they seemed to breed quite easily before they were eaten but i want to try and sell the shrimp on so want the best conditions for them.
