Breeding Bn's

Hi all,Just would like to know some answers to my questions please.


1) what to feed the babies?
2)can they be kept with parents?
3) how many pairs can we have in a 4ft tank?
4)about this cold water change,do you just put cold water in or should it be about 20degrees?

If your having problems getting them to breed - the cold water change can be a "trigger" - just use cold water - with a 15-20% change the tank will drop 4-5 degrees.

I'd go with 1 pair in there - once they start spawning they don't stop. the fry will eat the same as the parent and are fine to be kept with the parents.

just another question.If i breed bn's in a 3-4ft would i be able to keep other fish in there with them?

Hi mate ive got myn in a 2ftx1ft tank i keep a small shoal of endlers with them apparantly they give off hormones what encourages the bn's to mate
