USA,
I have a cycled spare 5.5 gallon tank, and 4 heabily laiden females and two male BS tetras. I would like to breed them.

How should I go about this?

5 gallons isn't an appropriate tank for these big and feisty caracins. A group of 6 should have at least 15-20 gallons to live in and you'll stand a better chance if you have a larger tank and larger group. They are not easy to breed. Since their egg scatterers it's best to keep them alone and use breeding grass so the eggs won't get eaten.

They wouldnt be in the 5.5 forever, just for a few days to breed them. I already have 4 plump females. and two males, and they live in a 55 now.
