can sombody please tell me how many female bettas to put in with my male to get babys and when to remove her i really dont want her be murdered by the male

when breeding youn dont just chuck the female in you keep her in a transparent container so the male can see her and when he builds a bubble nest then you put ther in and only one female of course I suggest you do a heap load of research before you do anything

ok thanks for your help itll be at least 3 month before i breed them anyway due to my guppy fry hogging the breeding tank would puting the female in a breeding trap work

There are many threads here with lots of great information about breeding bettas. Also, you might want to check out bettatalk.com. It's a very informative site. I myself, am now on my first attempt at breeding bettas. Good luck to us! :hey:

I heard breeding traps aren't a very good idea.
