breeding bettas

im thinking of getting a male and female betta to breed.
can someone give tips on waht to do and when to put
the male with the female when shes passive.
and can i put her eith my guppies and mollies my male
has an orange tail in the shape of fire will that intimadate
the male betta

Well you can because then the eggs don't go anywhere however you may want to keep some eggs for the male to gaurd...because I don't advise keeping him in there with the eggs he will get stressed and eat the eggs...(but yes you can put some in there but leave some for the male to gaurd)
