Breeding Angelfish Question.

Here's the question,
After the angels lay the eggs, will they protect it? Or I need to remove the parents to prevent them from eating it? O:
And will they care for the fries?
 
Depends on how "mature" they are. But they should look after them but they will become aggressive to other fish.

That's an amazing vid!

It may take pairs a few goes to get it right; they might well eat the eggs or wrigglers the fisrt few times, but let them get on with it and they'l usually get the hang of it.

Far too many angels are artificially reared these days, and there was some research I read while back (but I can't remember where) that fish need to have experienced parenting before they can be good parents themselves.

Every time your artificially raise a brood, you're creating more angels who don't know how to do it (hence why it takes pairs so many tries before they get it right.
