brave little fellas!

today, while i was putting some new rock caves in for my little barb shoal, i was surprised by a tickeling feeling on my arm...and when i looked, one of my smallest tiger barbs was nibbling at my arm, i think thats pretty brave to take on something that is quite a bit larger than himself!
anyone else have nibbly little curious barbs?
the larger three of them quickly swam away whenever my hand was near, but im sure i couldve picked this little guy up in my hand!

That's funny that you mention it, several of mine in the years past were just like that - it felt as if they were clearning me...

I have a lot of freckles/birthmarks on my arm, and when I had angels and I put my arm in the tank they used to pick specifically at the dark spots on my skin. It was hilarious to see the desperately try to suck a mole off of my arm.

All my tigers do that, but there is one female Albino who will come rushing to my hand as soon as it goes in the tank and she'll swim into my fist and just sit there!!!
