Brain Coral

so a few days ago, some fish of mine knocked over my brain coral and it fell right beside my galaxy. It took quite a bit of a beating from the galaxy from its sweeper tenticles for quite a while till i came home to find out and quickly put the brain back into its correct position. After the incident happened, those few days the area where the brain coral was stung started to become stressed (not inflated) and today i can see some tissue dieing off at the injured area. Is there anyway i can save the brain? or will it just recover itself? I have a bad feeling because i can see the exoskeleton from that injured area.

Galaxy corals are extremely nasty when it comes to coral wars. They have long tentacles and, are 'verboten' in nano tanks. The stingers probably destroyed those animals that were stung. The best you can do is keep the coral far away from it, do some water changes and hopefully preserve the rest of the brain. SH
