how can i create my 40 gallon fw tank into a brackish tank? i have a fw moray eel, fw asian tiger lobster, 8 zebra danios, and lots of feeder ghost shrimp. would it be alright for all of my guys if i were to make my tank a brackish tank? PLEASE GIVE AS MUCH INFO AS POSSIBLE ON HOW TO MAKE MY TANK BRACKISH AND IF IT WOULD BE OKAY FOR ALL OF MY FISH!! THANKS :) :) :) oh, and ps. would there be anything special that i would need to change about my fw setup for a brackish tank? THANKS! :p :p :p :p :p

I would not suggest converting your tank to brackish if you wish to keep your existing fish. Changing over to brackish is simple enough ... add salt! Of course you would do this gradually over time if you had fish already in there, during your water changes.

It's well worth setting up a new brackish tank because there's so many cool fish you can keep :)

Most fish that are meant for freshwater can't live in brackish. Some can though like mollies and guppies.
