Braces On A Juwel Rio 300

Hi all,

I am a newbie here on fishforums (but not to fishkeeping).

I was hoping to pick the brain of anyone who has (or knows of) Juwel Rio 300 aquariums (4ft).

My question is this; The plastic bracing spars that run back to front on the top of the tank (you know the ones that are prone to snapping), is there one brace in the centre of the tank or 2 braces 1/3 of the way in from each end?

The reason I ask is that I am planning an upgraded DIY light system. I will be ordering the 300 without actually seeing it (I currently have a Trigon 190) so I can't just nip down to have a look at one.

Hi,
We have a rio 300 and there are two plastic bracing bars 1/3 of the way in from each end. Hope this helps
