I have tried adjusting the air and water valves on the skimmer to get the right flow but I am not sure if I have done it right.

I get the water to come to the top of the collection cup valve but when I put the cap back on the whole collection cup fills with water. Should it do this or should it stay at the opening and just trickle into the colection cup?

I would welcome any advice or pictures of how it should be.

The collection cup should be out of the water by at least an inch, the air valve should be open just enough to produce enough bubbles to fill the inner tube, the cup will then fill slowly. Sorry can't get any pictures at the moment of mine, but if you're still having problems will post some in a day or two unless someone beats me to it

It sounds as if I am doing it right but wasn`t sure if the collection cup was supposed to fill with water. I would very much appreciate any photos you have when you are able to post them.
