Hi all,

Im new to this site and was hoping for some advice.

I have a Boxer Shrimp and wish to add some more inverts, there are a couple of hermites & miami snails which dont get in his way,

I would like to get some more shrimp but do not know what i am able to get, the shops say all different things, so i thought i would ask a larger field of people with experiance.

Thanks,

As Nemo said, boxer shrimp (Stenopus species with S. hispidus being most common) aren't usually good company for other shrimp. Although I've heard of the smaller Stenopus species being successfully kept with other shrimp in fairly large tanks, S. hispidus can get pretty large and aggressive. Hermits and snails will be alright, but unless you've got a pretty big tank and/or a small Stenopus species, more shrimp is a risky way to go.
