I have a 7 gallon betta tank; well tank not a betta tank yet; I'm looking to get a betta soon but I was wondering what bottom feeders could go in there too (or other companions), excluding snails and shrimp (as I know about those)?

Really looking forward to this question being answered as I am in the same situation!

At the moment I have a 30 ltr tank with a Betta & 2 Khuli loaches (will increase when LFS has more, how many?).

Just wanted to know what else I could put into the tank.

With betta's probably the best bottom feeder is corydoras. For your size tanks (meaning both of you) I would say pygmy corys.

Thank you :)

Thanks!

I agree with the pygmies, sweet little things and they also swim in the midwater sections as well as the bottom. You should have at least 6 of them, and with a good filter and water change regime you could get away with 8. Like all schooling fish the more the merrier with them.
