anyone know how i can sex my zebra loaches?
my breeding tank will soon be empty of fish, but i've got an enormous snail population in there, so i thought i'd kill two birds with one stone and introduce (hopefully) a pair from my 6 loaches and try to breed them.
Also i understand that these are a particularly hard fish to breed so if anyone has done so successfully i would like some info please!

I was under the impression that breeding in the home aquarium was almost unheard of

Don't get your hopes up on breeding them. I don't think there is a single botia species that has been tank breed without hormone treatment.

Not sure if they do show any sort of sexual dimorphism, making sexing hard.
