My little chain loaches moved out of the quarantine today, and into the 55g, the final frontier. They are alone, them two against the other fish, they are the underdogs, the smallest in the tank. Will they survive? Will they eat or be eaten? Only fate can tell  They are really funny. I ony have two but I wanted atleast four. They were the only ones at the place for $7 a piece. They play loach tag arount the left side of the tank, they're so small they haven't found the right side yet. I'm worried the badis may eat them but, I think he's gonna use them for entertainment  They are only yay long | loach | They are so twitchy and always moving. The best part is, THEY COME OUT DURING THE DAY! :hyper:
So to all fellow loach keepers, keep a look out for these inquisitive little guys, sometimes called chain or dwarf loaches, they are great for tanks with apistos rams or dwarf cichlids. They come out in the daylight and school, yes school when there is enough of them. Of course they have the same playful actions of other botias in a 2 inch package. They may be expensive as they just came back into the hobby and are kind of rare but you'll love it when you have some zooming around the tank stirring up madness. Try them, I reccomend it  8)

Look! Loach on bottom, otto regular size, juvinile ram...This is not an optical illusion

They are a great Loach, one of my favourites. Very active and colourful. :)

i wish i could get some, but they're not allowed into the country :(

something about enviromental impact

nice fish you have there btw

I had a quick look through that list of fish that are legal, it is very short. I notice there was a mechanism for adding fish, is that feasible/easy/economic/worthwhile?

I think you're looking at an Otto Cheesy....
